[Hey, Nero. Are you cooking at 5 o clock in the morning? Well, the door of the kitchen is bursting open, obviously kicked, and Sholmes comes in, wide-eyed, searching...]
[And then he points at Nero.]
THERE you are! Where the deuces have you been?! By the heavens - Kotetsu! [He's calling over his shoulder.] KOTETSU!! I found him!
[ Kotetsu hears the shout of his name and immediately comes running in the direction of where Sholmes is shouting. With the relief, he forgets how to run. Or something like that. Either way, his clumsy ass self trips as he's running down the hall.
Hop, hop, hop.
And he skids across the floor, smashing into Sholmes' legs. How hard? That is your call.
Finley comes trotting after him and gives Kotetsu a look of disdain. Why this man? ]
[ He leans heavy on Sholmes and sighs, getting his footing again and peering in at Nero. ]
We woke up and were worried you were gone.
[ He drops his head to Sholmes' shoulder and sighs in relief. That really would have made his entire existence cursed if Nero had actually gone and died.
Typically, I am out like a light! But in the matters of this being a rather particularly terrible day of the week, one is well-pressed to be aware when others go missing.
[ Because honestly, Sholmes and Kotetsu might have slept in if they hadn't... But Sensitive Souls. He closes his eyes at the patting of his cheek. He's still tired, but that adrenaline boost really woke up him.
...Finley also probably bit him in the leg to wake him up. Not hard, but you know. Tiger bite. ]
[ He peers into the kitchen, looking to see if there are any sitting places in there. Then again, knowing these clowns, they'd be fine sitting on the counter. ]
[ He leans against Sholmes and keeps sipping his coffee. Finely comes in to settle in there, too. ]
I was worried, too. But I didn't want to let that get to any of us. Which is why I thought it'd be nice to have all that food, drink and the violin up there. No reason not to enjoy the company.
[He's usually a ball of stress, between role obligations and having people die every single week. It's just something he lives with. It's more Northern Nero than current Nero, but if he has to adjust he can and he will.
There are some slices of bacon tossed in. He'll wait for it to finish cooking before joining the other two.]

Disce watches the other two skitter in with the idle curiosity of a cat.]
Why're ya up this early?

[This is a comedy routine.]
[He shoots Nero a disgruntled look. Irene is sitting nearby looking Tired.]
I could ask you that, Nero! You worried us half to death!

Finley moves to Irene to gently groom her. ]

[He reaches up to pat Kotetsu's cheek.]
Who cooks breakfast at five in the morning?

They're the ones that woke us up.
[ Because honestly, Sholmes and Kotetsu might have slept in if they hadn't... But Sensitive Souls. He closes his eyes at the patting of his cheek. He's still tired, but that adrenaline boost really woke up him.

[He pours coffee for the other two.
Sometimes you just have a routine, it's Fine.]
Here, have some coffee.
no subject
[He glances at the coffee, then at Nero, then at Kotetsu.]
How does he do it? Do wizards simply run on little to no sleep? Powerful, truly...
no subject
[ But he does reach out for the mug. Maybe they should consider actually entering the kitchen, but here is fine, right? Right. ]
no subject
I ran a restaurant. Got a lotta prep to do in the mornin'.
[Now Disce jumps off of the counter to follow her wizard.]
no subject
[He will take the coffee.]
Thank you kindly. [And a pause.] We...really should just sit, I think. Might as well.
no subject
What were you making?
[ He takes a sip of his coffee. ]
no subject
Omelets. Did ya want something else?
no subject
[He's moving to sit at a chair, Kotetsu in tow. The coffee is good!]
You know...I am rather glad that everyone we went to bed with is here. I was so worried...

[He's chopping up some peppers, so if anybody has actual suggestions about what should be in the eggs, speak up now.]
Good memories.
no subject
[He has no suggestions. He's just sitting here, tired, but wistful.]
I feel like...for the first time in a while, I could breathe.
no subject
[ He's fine with whatever Nero decides to make! Not picky about food. ]

[He's usually a ball of stress, between role obligations and having people die every single week. It's just something he lives with. It's more Northern Nero than current Nero, but if he has to adjust he can and he will.

[And he claps at the food being brought over.]
Compliments to the chef, yes. [And he's reaching for the plate.] We all needed that, yesterday.
no subject
[ And he appreciatively takes his own food. ]
We did. I feel so much better after all that.
no subject
[Because it's a Friday and things will get worse.]
I'll treasure it.
no subject
[A nod.]
For all the bad we have experienced...we have had moments like that. And it makes them shine all the brighter.
