[ There's a light tease to his voice at that. But it happens, they needed those breaks. That rest.

[He....misses Iris so much.]

[At the very thought of it, he's burying his head in the crook of the other's neck, sighing.]

[ His hand shifts to hold the back of Sholmes' neck, cradling him so close. ]

[He says. Later. Sholmes is a dead man. Pity that he can't see the future.]

[ Unfortunate the future is awful! How innocent and hopeful they were here. So fully of life. ]

[ His voice is so warm, so full of hope and life. He believes they can make it through anything now. Despite the words etched on his throat, the can make it and find their peace. ]

[ He kisses the side of his head, nuzzling him gently. ]

[He laughs at the kiss, turning his head to kiss the other's ear.]

[ He knows with every fiber of his being that they can do this. They'll make it. Finley rubs affectionately against Sholmes' legs before licking the top of Irene's head and shifting down to her Maine Coon form to be more her size.

He moves his hands from Sholmes' body to shift so he can cup his face in his hands. He holds him like he's a treasure. One that no one else can hold. The look in his eye is so honest and true, so enamored by this man. ]

I am yours, Sholmes. Always.

[ And he leans in to kiss him. Sweet and gentle. ]

[Irene moves to lick over Finley's head, gently, her ears twitching. Sholmes himself laughs a little at the hold in the other's hands. His soft, warm, hands. He grins, brightly, his own hands moving to embrace him around the shoulders.]

And I am yours, ever the same.

[He kisses him back, happily, without hesitation. Like its where he belongs.

[ There's a soft smile in the kiss, his thumbs gently brushing over his cheeks. He feels so greedy right now, so full of affection. Maybe he shouldn't, but he wants more. Desires more. The love he feels is like an overflowing cup mixed with the hope he feels.

For the moment, however, he just kisses the man deeper, tongue tracing his lips softly. ]

Mm.

[A low murmur of a sound, as he deepens the kiss on his end, as well. Being with the other man like this feels so light, effortless, like a cloud. Like there's no obstacle here, not anywhere, not ever.]

[His hand reaches up to tickle the nape of the other's neck, his eyes fluttering as he presses his tongue in.]

[ He feels a soft shiver run down his spine, enjoying this sensation. Enjoying everything about him. He doesn't push for more, but there is an electric current running through him.

He sighs contently in the kiss as his tongue brushes against Sholmes'. If only this moment could last forever. This pure bliss. ]

[If only happiness could last forever like this.]

[He kisses for a moment long, before drawing back, smiling fondly as he presses another kiss at the corner of his mouth.]

One could do this all day. But we do have a tent to set up, yes?

[ His thumb brushes over the corner of his lips and nods. ]

We do. Get settled in while it's still nice out.

[ He mumbles softly, pressing a light kiss on his cheek. Then lets his kisses lead to Sholmes' ear. ]

Maybe we can continue this after that.

[The kisses tickle, and he huffs a little, amused.]

Would we want to set up here?

Hm. It could work. Or we could set up a little further out.

[ Sure, maybe they stormed be closer to the group for protection and safety, but he has confidence that they'll be fine. Besides, it worked be nice to have some semblance of privacy even out here. Not even necessarily to do anything, but he enjoys his time alone with Sholmes. ]

[Its alright. They can deal with all this on their own. he has trust in Kotetsu to protect him, and vice versa.]

[ He places another kiss on his ear before reluctantly pulling away. He has to get back to picking up all the gear, after all. ]

Two weeks in a row being able to wake up next to you without scrambling to find a place to stay. I really could get used to this.

[ And he hopes this is how it always is. ]

Haha, that's true, yes! I think I'd like to have that as a regular part of my day.

[To wake up, and know Kotetsu is there.]

[To know Kotetsu won't leave him.]

[Its bliss, really.]

[ He'd put his arm around Sholmes, but he has his arms very full at the moment. ]

Waking up and going to sleep with you... it really does sound like a dream. One we'll have to make a reality.

I...I really hope so. We have a great insurmountable fight ahead of us. We'll have to do our very best.

[ He shakes his head. ]

You pick us a good spot, I can do this much.
