You see, I met this really interesting guy when I got here. I felt really comfortable around him pretty fast. I can't even explain what it was. The more I talked to him, the more relaxed I felt. Even if I threw a seagull at his face.
He comes off as someone with an extremely bubbly and whimsical type of personality, but underneath, he's a really wonderful and respectable man. Maybe he does some of it to protect himself. Can't quite say. But it was fun talking to him.
We got cursed. But I kind of hate saying that now? It feels like it was the beginning of something that was meant to happen. Promises, souls being shared. He's the only person I'd let read me like an open book since my wife. IT was terrifying and thrilling. I couldn't let go, after what I saw under those layers.
The two of us had to go through hell. But even with these confusing feelings, he still stayed at my side. Claiming he never had anything to offer me. Never could give me what I needed.
And then... it fell together. We could finally understand what the other truly felt. That desire, that warmth. It was like bliss when we finally came together. I doubled down on my promise to him. Vowed I'd protect us both. And even if I can't stop the things from happening around here, I promise to protect his heart the best I can.
He's become my reason for fighting so hard. Helps give me my passion. My light. You know, that kind of person that means more than words could ever explain.
