[That's...a very kind sentiment. And one that he's slightly taken back by, blinking at the grasp of his shoulder. Irene looks up at Kotetsu, her little hare nose twitching.]

And he means that with every fiber of his being. He wants to genuinely help everyone here, but with this bond they've developed, he deeply wants to get Sholmes back to the life he has waiting for him.

With that space behind him evacuated, he gets settled into the spot next to Sholmes in the tower.
