I think if windows are left open again, it could happen. At least... some of it. I don't know how connect my job is with the rest of the picture. It almost feels like I'm doing something that isn't related to whatever is happening to the Watchers...

That is true. The fact that you have informed me that someone would be chosen to bear the knife in the case you cannot is...indicative of how deeply important your role is. I would think the rest may not have replacements lined up so readily.
