We ended up in a candy shop, shrunk down to be able to fit into a candy castle. It started out innocent enough, aside from a little ominous rumbling. After wandering a bit, we came across a three headed dog ... made of cookie, I think.

Sounds hilarious when it's said, but that thing was attacking us. After we fought it, the ground gave way. We had to find our way out and just when we thought we were done, we got swallowed up by a bunch of purple ooze. Only to end up in that random candy shop.
For the record, where we came out, wasn't the candy shop. I don't know how we got there or how we got back.
Yeah. I have no clue how we got there. We were wondering if others ended up somewhere else, but it was pretty obvious that it was just us stuck there when we looked around.
It was about windows being left open between worlds. That the spectres came to punish them from their hubris. Not the exact phrasing, but I can get you the note later.
