[ Kotetsu's not able to rest after everything that happened. it's so much that he feels restless. every week brings new, terrible surprises. but he's hobbling along with a crutch that's too small for his ass.

he comes across the tournament area, tiger tail lazily moving behind him, Finley padding along next to him in her tiger form. when he sees Allen, he slowly approaches him, not saying much at first and just waving in his direction. ]

[Allen has been working on his martial arts practice on... whatever's not been destroyed by the swordsmen and women of the living. and when he notices Kotetsu, he frowns, pausing.]

You should be resting.

[time to fuss over a tiger dad, let's find you a place where you're not hobbling on one leg???]

That's a familiar phrase.

[ he got it more after his close encounter of the trident kind, but this also. he doesn't protest as Allen gets him to a sitting spot. ]

I can't just sit still.

Then don't sit still, but do take breaks frequently. Losing a limb isn't something to make light of.

[he gets it. so he'll settle next to him for a moment, at least.]

But what brought you all the way out here...? Did you want to have a go at the dummies, too?

[ he nods. he'll take breaks. ]

A little hard to do that in my state... I didn't really have any place in mind. Restless wandering.

Things have been pretty rough lately...

And there's never much to do at the end of the week.

There's still things we can do. Trying to figure things out. Prepare for next week and getting answers.

As terrible as that is... we can't stop, awful as this is.

Mm... but that's just what it means to live, isn't it.

We keep moving forward, scars and all.

I guess I just wish I had more to offer when it comes to figuring things out, but if I can help in other ways, then I will.

Staying alive and being there for the fight and helping others is a lot already. You're doing more than your share.

I will, soon. Tonight hasn't given me much time to try to figure things out and tomorrow... [ Well. You know. ]

...Speaking of new places. I'm going to be trying to get people to gather on Tuesdays. To try to figure out what we need to explore and what information we've gathered. I'd like as many people to come... since we need to work together.

Of course. We should have had a meeting like that earlier this week, but... it seems like the masquerade derailed things a little.

I keep getting tasks that relate to my street performing more often than not...

Though the most recent thing was a Getting To Know You game with two people I don't know very well.

I've had to share memories a number of times. I also had to spend time with people I didn't know too well, too. But I'm guessing this leg is going to cost a bit...
