I was talking to Kim about this... it's kind of strange how there's things that feel similar or familiar, but are still very different. Like here, I have such a strong nostalgic feeling and it's made me a little homesick, but it's still very different.
[ But he is looking over the menu. ]
Why don't you let one of us order for you once you decide, Sholmes. So you don't confuse the waiter.
[Hey, Nero. Are you cooking at 5 o clock in the morning? Well, the door of the kitchen is bursting open, obviously kicked, and Sholmes comes in, wide-eyed, searching...]
[And then he points at Nero.]
THERE you are! Where the deuces have you been?! By the heavens - Kotetsu! [He's calling over his shoulder.] KOTETSU!! I found him!
[ Kotetsu hears the shout of his name and immediately comes running in the direction of where Sholmes is shouting. With the relief, he forgets how to run. Or something like that. Either way, his clumsy ass self trips as he's running down the hall.
Hop, hop, hop.
And he skids across the floor, smashing into Sholmes' legs. How hard? That is your call.
Finley comes trotting after him and gives Kotetsu a look of disdain. Why this man? ]
[ He leans heavy on Sholmes and sighs, getting his footing again and peering in at Nero. ]
We woke up and were worried you were gone.
[ He drops his head to Sholmes' shoulder and sighs in relief. That really would have made his entire existence cursed if Nero had actually gone and died.
Typically, I am out like a light! But in the matters of this being a rather particularly terrible day of the week, one is well-pressed to be aware when others go missing.
[ Because honestly, Sholmes and Kotetsu might have slept in if they hadn't... But Sensitive Souls. He closes his eyes at the patting of his cheek. He's still tired, but that adrenaline boost really woke up him.
...Finley also probably bit him in the leg to wake him up. Not hard, but you know. Tiger bite. ]
