It’s a possibility. But it does mean the kids aren’t going outside of the city much, if at all, if the forest looks this undisturbed.

No. They actually really liked me until they saw Finley when she was a tiger. They were fine when she was a rabbit, but she randomly shifted form when we were visiting and they got terrified.

It's sad because even though they seemed to hate the suggestion of rules, they still had some order to them. The older ones taking care to make sure the younger ones were being taken care of... It's such a damn shame.

We don't give kids enough credit. But just because they adapt doesn't mean they should have to.

I agree wholeheartedly. Kids shouldn't have to be raising each other like this.

Not if there's an alternative. Like "take your kids with you".

It kind of seems strange that an entire city would do that to ever last kid. That's the part that's weird.

That no one just took their whole family and left? I get the... not wanting to leave the place where your home and life is, but even just patting little Timmy on the shoulder and telling him not to burn down the house for the next month while you run for your lives is... weird.

Maybe the logic was if something happened to them, the kids would be in the city and the other adults could take care of them when they got back? Instead of their kid being lost without their parents in a place they don't know?
